Disconnect the electrical connection at the blend door actuator 10 in pic below. Remove the blend door actuator as an assembly with the actuator cam. There is also and air inlet door actuator which is mounted behind the glove box on the far right side. This fuse is 15 on older trucks but was 42 on mine.

The temperature blend door actuator which is located behind the radio on top of the evaporator case. Remove the blend door actuator mounting screws from the hvac module.

Pull the hvac control fuse in the box in the passenger kick panel pictured for a minute with the engine off and key removed.
